Kent: This is the final concord made in the court of the lord king at Westminster in the quindene of St John the Baptist in the 36th year of the reign of King Edward III after the conquest before Robert de Thorp, John Moubray and John Knyvet, justices, and other loyal subjects of the lord king then and there present. Between William de Apuldrefeld and Henry, son of Henry de Apuldrefeld, querents, and Henry de Apuldrefeld and Joan his wife, deforciants, concerning the manors of Thrulegh and Bocton Monchensy, and concerning the advowson of a moiety of the church of Bocton Malerbe. Whereupon a plea of covenant was summoned between them in the same church. Namely, that the aforesaid Henry de Apuldrefeld and Joan acknowledged the aforesaid manors and advowson to be the right of the same Henry, son of Henry, as those which the same Henry and William have of the gift of the aforesaid Henry de Apuldrefeld and Joan. And for this acknowledgement, fine and concord the same William and Henry, son of Henry, granted to the aforesaid Henry de Apuldrefeld and Joan the aforesaid manors and advowson. And those they handed over to them in the same court. To have and to hold to the same Henry de Apuldrefeld and Joan and the heirs of the same Joan of the chief lords of that fee by the services which pertain to the aforesaid manors and advowson forever.
